v-day food porn





Filet mignon and shrimp, surf & turf style with bearnaise sauce, and cauliflower gratin made with goat cheese and
caciatta al tartufo (black truffle sheep's milk cheese).

Tim & Chau brought some fantastic apple pie (not sure where from?). The next day we had some with the leftover truffle cheese on top and holy god damn, somebody put that on a menu already.

I, too, have taken to slivers of truffle cheese on my already ridiculously over the top macncheese (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yJ7maIK2W5U/SH6s4XkvZUI/AAAAAAAAFHE/ROLJRYIOdSY/s1600-h/DSCF0291.JPG).

I would imagine that, while not quite as gluttonous, a trickle of truffle oil would have a similarly awesome effect.

cheese on apple pie = awesome. Middle america really knew best with that one.
