I like the mildness of it all since I've been eating spicy / sharp prov south philly hoagies covered in longhots for the last year!

Yeah I need to get to OG Lou's soon as well. the bread is really what makes the Zep, I do like the pink salami though. Conshy roll in reading! That's crazy. Corropolese bread was pretty good too, and so cheap, basically wholesale prices....hawk krallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05669692847420610090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6633600983652479486.post-70728163512112504682011-12-19T21:06:16.976-05:002011-12-19T21:06:16.976-05:00I had my first Zep at Lous Too and I'll be hon...I had my first Zep at Lous Too and I'll be honest, I was a bit let down at the mildness of it all. Looking to check out the original Lou's on Main in Norristown, perhaps that will help. On a Corropolese related note, we just had our annual holiday open house and we've got some dear friends who are kind enough to always bring one of their tomato pies to our gatherings- always a big hit! The boxes are so big I swear they should come with a set of legs, to make their own table.
Thanks for the info on a Conshy roll - we were just up at the Peanut Bar in Reading and saw a sandwich listed as being on one of those.
Very informative post!Mod Betty / RetroRoadmap.comhttp://www.retroroadmap.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6633600983652479486.post-39598386548005232722011-12-16T09:58:51.244-05:002011-12-16T09:58:51.244-05:00I am so in on a Zep run.
